Company Debuts New Generation of VentureShield Auto Protection Film
ROCKLAND, MA Venture Tape Corp., manufacturer of automotive protection film VentureShield, has introduced a new, enhanced version of the popular adhesive that is easier and faster to install.
VentureShield is a clear, UV-resistant polyurethane paint finish protection film that protects auto paint from damage by stones, debris, abrasion, insects and other environmental elements. It is typically applied to vulnerable exterior areas such as hoods, door edges, bumpers, side mirrors, rocker panels and body contour projections. Its excellent conformability makes it easy to install and its abrasion resistance is higher than any other product available. It is virtually invisible and does not alter the aesthetics of the vehicle or its factory finish.
The new version of VentureShield has been adapted through a special patented process, explains VentureShield product manager Brett Webster. The film is extremely resistant to fingerprints and stretch marks. You can stretch it, push it into place and lay it on itself, all without altering the appearance of the adhesive. This will cut down on installation time, and installers wont have to worry about the adhesive moving slightly, even on black vehicles!
The original version of VentureShield was crystal clear when it was removed from the liner, making it almost impossible to see the adhesive while holding it up to natural light. The new films adhesive has a temporary hazy look once its removed from the liner, making it easier to handle and apply. Once applied, however, the film is crystal clear.
Our customers asked for a non-yellowing product, and we provided it, enthuses Webster. They asked for a film that is strong, yet stretches easily, and that consistently provides an effective and aesthetically-pleasing result. We delivered on all of these features, and now we have an improved product that will save time on every single installation and gets it right the first time. Installers no longer have to worry about adhesive marks, fingerprints and palm imprints ruining a great install especially on dark-colored vehicles!
